Last week, MediaTek and Vivo announced that they are launching a new smartphone with the latest 5G SoC from the Taiwanese chip maker – The Dimensity 1000+. The new handset will be presented on May 19. Today, a leaked advertising poster announced the price of this new 5G gaming phone called iQOO Z1. In addition, at least one configuration with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is confirmed.
According to the leak, the price for this particular variant will be 2,498 CNY (350 USD / 325 EUR). We still have to see how the Dimensity 1000+ behaves in real life, but at least on paper it's a powerful chipset. In addition to the brand new SoC, the handset will also have an LCD display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a quick charge of 44 W. This is one of the cheapest phones if you want to try 5G. Thanks to some leaked pictures, we also know that there will be a pinhole camera in the upper left corner.
Further details should appear again and again in the coming days. After all, we are only six days from publication. The company has already collected reservations for the phone on its website and at some major online retailers in China. People who sign up are among the first to know when the iQOO Z1 starts and can also purchase it the first time they sell Flash.
