Report: iPhone SE 2020 will be released next week

Realme TV finally starts on May 25th

Having become an independent brand, Realme is working hard to expand its portfolio across markets. The company recently announced that it will launch eight new products in China on May 25. Realme India has now confirmed that the long-rumored Realme TV will also be launched on the same day.

In detail, the company officially confirmed this with a poster. The poster bears the slogan "Leap to Next" with the start date May 25th at 12.30 p.m. Indian time. In addition, the poster says "Watch the TV" with a picture of a display and a clock in silhouette under the poster, teasing the Realme Watch, which plays on the same day.

The Realme TV has been leaked several times. The company started teasing the TV for the alleged MWC 2020, but the event was canceled due to the current pandemic. After a series of speculations, Realme seems to have put all the rumors in the dust by confirming the start of the TV.

As we recall, the company's CEO, Madhav Sheth, emphasized the fact that Realme wants to be complete Tech lifestyle brand in the future. The arrival of TV, Smartwatches further confirms the direction the company is likely to move.

Regarding the upcoming Realme TV, we have no information on the specs except for some certifications and a screen size that leaked from a warehouse yesterday. Smart TVs are the next big thing in the industry due to their greater experience with content. At a time when people are working from home, the global hype about smart TVs, including China, is suddenly increasing.

India has recently been a potential market for smart TVs. Last year companies like Nokia and Motorola also entered the smart TV industry to convince leading companies like Samsung, TCL, Xiaomi and Oneplus that dominate in different price segments. Realme would definitely aim to join the mix in the future. But now, with the arrival of Realme TV in China, we have to wait and see how things develop for the company as they expand their horizons in China.
