Before the worldwide introduction of the video conferencing tool Messenger Rooms, Facebook announced plans to integrate it with other internal apps such as Instagram and WhatsApp. Well, it seems that the tests have already started because the shortcut for messenger rooms for WhatsApp users is shown in the beta channel.
First discovered by WABetaInfo The latest beta versions of WhatsApp for Android (v2) .20.163) and iOS (22.214.171.124) introduce the Messenger Rooms shortcut in the chat window that appears when you tap the attachments button in the text bar. The Messenger Rooms shortcut replaces the camera icon and is simply referred to as Room . The Room button is also shown as a separate icon in the WhatsApp call area.
Tapping the Messenger Rooms shortcut asks users if they want to open the Messenger application and start a group video call with up to 50 people. However, this feature is currently only available to a small number of users in the United States and some other countries. You can try the beta build (on Android) of APKMirror here and see if you're lucky.
