VIVO has recently started teasing its upcoming X50 series phones and the giant gimbal-style camera that is said to deliver superior stabilization performance. VIVO has now published an official poster that gives us a first glimpse into the glass-metal sandwich design of the VIVO X50 and X50 Pro.
The VIVO X50 Pro can be seen with four cameras, with the huge gimbal-inspired primary snapper sitting at the top. The main camera is said to use Samsung's new 50MP ISOCELL GN1 sensor, which is equipped with Dual Pixel PDAF technology for faster focusing. At the bottom is a periscope camera lens and above it two other sensors, probably a wide-angle and a macro camera.
The VIVO X50 only has three cameras. The top one is the well-known gimbal camera with a huge aperture and two other lenses underneath. In particular, the periscope camera that we see on her pro sibling is missing. We'll learn more about the two phones in the VIVO X50 series as the company releases more teasers before launch on June 1st.
