We recently saw the possible specs of the upcoming Microsoft Surface Duo, but new rumors provide information about the pen features we may get. According to Windows Latest, this device will include advanced pen integration and features that better fit the overall user experience of other Surface devices.
The new Microsoft Surface Duo appears to have some exciting touch features. Apparently, the Android input stack was programmed to enable touch input via the user's fingers and pen at the same time. This function should also work simultaneously and seamlessly on both screens. The Surface Pen already recognizes different pressure levels, so Microsoft tries to activate this function on the Android platform.
Other features like dragging files from one screen to the other would feel natural, and surface-specific gestures such as tapping twice to take screenshots or launch the app you want. This device is also slated to launch Android 10 later this year, but the Android 11 software update will be available fairly quickly.
