Samsung Galaxy M01 schematics leak reveal specifications and design

The newsfeed is pretty hectic for the upcoming Galaxy M01. The handset will join the Galaxy A01 as the cheapest offer from Samsung. Today pricing for the Indian market has leaked and shows a price of INR 9,000. Now people at Android Pure have specified specifications and dimensions. The drawing is basically what we expect from a quick guide that contains some information about the handset. Fortunately, it contains the dimensions and device specifications.

Samsung Galaxy M01 specifications

The handset has the same chipset as the Galaxy A01 – The Snapdragon 439. It is an outdated chipset, and we would certainly prefer MediaTek's Helio G70. However, it should offer acceptable performance for non-demanding users. The computing power is 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.

These specifications are based on a 5.71-inch display with HD + resolution (1560 x 720p). The handset has a water drop notch on the front that serves as a home for a simple 5 megapixel selfie shooter with a 1: 2.2 aperture. When we move backwards, we have a dual camera setup that includes a 13MP main shooter with a f / 2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with a f / 2.4 aperture.

The phone has overall dimensions of 146.3 x 70.86 x 9.8 mm. It is shipped with Android 10 directly with One UI 2.0. A 4,000 mAh battery stops the light. Other features include Dolby Atmos, Samsung Health support and Face Unlock. Interestingly, the presence of microSD is listed as "TBD". Maybe the circuit diagrams are still being worked on, or in the worst case the material has been manipulated.

The Galaxy M01 will launch the M series ladder in India at a fairly affordable price of INR 9,000 (~) $ 118). It's not the better budget smartphone, especially in India, where other devices like the Realme C3 are available. Let's see how the M01 will develop in emerging countries. It is noteworthy that the handset will arrive in India together with the Galaxy M11 in June.
