Samsung plans to add another affordable phone, the Galaxy M01, to its Galaxy M series product range in India. Under the name, it will be the cheapest device in the entire portfolio. Before the supposed launch on the Indian market, however, important specifications, design renderings and prices for the phone prevailed online.
The upcoming Samsung phone shows a more general but familiar design with two vertically stacked camera lenses on the back and a 5.71-inch HD + -Display on the front with a water drop notch. It will be based on the Snapdragon 439 chip, which is installed alongside 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.
On the back there is a 13-megapixel primary camera under a 2-megapixel depth sensor, while on the front there is a 5-megapixel snapper. The Galaxy M01 has a 5,000 mAh battery and also offers Dolby Atmos support. According to a reliable tipster the Galaxy M01 will be launched in the country at a price of Rs. 8,999 (~ $ 120) and may be released soon, but there is no information yet on international availability.
