OPPO could have Qualcomm, MediaTek and HiSilicon engineers work on its new chip.
OPPO has been working on bringing its own SoC onto the market for some time. According to a new report by Nikkei Asian, OPPO is aggressively recruiting engineers from well-known companies to work on their new SoC. According to the report, they are in contact with MediaTek, UniSoc and other internal sources. You are also in discussions with Qualcomm and the HiSilicon from Huawei. A representative of OPPO said they are investing heavily in research and development to strengthen and simplify the supply chain. Obviously, we won't get it that quickly and it could take a few years. It is interesting to see how OPPO is evolving, and we know how it affects other popular brands like OnePlus.
Instagram will soon monetize IGTV videos for online creators to make money.
It's no secret that people make the longest money through Instagram, but not necessarily through Instagram. They mostly had to create third-party sponsored content, and now the company is finally ready to monetize content for its creators. The company is introducing new tools to launch ads and enable creators to sell badges through IGTV. When it comes to ads, these are created for mobile phones and each last 15 seconds. 55% of advertising revenue goes to the creators. The badges are similar to a Twitch subscription where a fan can buy them, get a special badge in the comments, and access certain perks. In certain countries, the badges will be tested next month and ads should start showing with certain developers as of now. We have a full list in the links in the description.
Color options for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series may have been leaked.
We got a lot of leaks for the Galaxy Note 20 range as we approach August. We recently got various CAD renderings showing the design, and now we are getting some leaked color variations. According to an insider source, the regular Note 20 will be available in gray, green, and copper, while the Note 20+ will be available in black and copper flavors. It looks like Samsung is looking for simpler colors compared to the striking color variations of the Note 10. The source also claims that it will not be the same copper variant that we got with the Note 9, but rather a gold-colored hue. It is also possible that these are not all colors, as Samsung starts more and more later.
iPhone 13 may come with a killer camera for the latest leak
Finally, the hottest news today has to do with iPhone 12, or should I say iPhone 13. I'm not sure if you noticed, but every time Apple changes the design, it becomes the main feature and not really an impairment of specifications or functionality. Well, it seems that this will be the case this year. How sure we've heard of various changes for the iPhone 12, such as removing the Lightning earbuds, the LiDAR sensor, and more, but it seems that big changes will happen by the iPhone 13. We covered the theory of running portless a few days ago and now we have some new leaks. The same source claims that these leaks should be fixed with a large amount of salt, but it looks like Apple will make major improvements to the camera by next year. He claims that we will get a quad camera array that contains a 64MP main sensor. Yes, 1x optical zoom is not an x, but it seems to be 6x digital. Then there is a 40-megapixel telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom and an anamorphic 64-megapixel lens for video recording as well as a 40-megapixel ultra-wide lens and the LiDAR sensor that we used for the iPhone 12 expect. Yes, that's a lot of camera
