Apple could prepare to launch a new iMac this week. It is powered by an Intel processor. A redesign is unlikely. The latest development is based on two rumors.
The first suggests that Apple may announce an Intel-based iMac this week. Earlier it was pointed out that the company will be launching a new iMac at WWDC 2020, but that hasn't happened. In fact, Apple hasn't announced any new hardware at its annual conference.
The second rumor says that new Apple products are ready to ship. It comes from Twitter handle @ L0vetodream, which has reported details of macOS Big Sur, the new iPhone SE, new iPad professionals and much more in the past.
Earlier this month, an unannounced iMac with a 10-core Intel i9 CPU and a Radeon Pro 5300 GPU appeared in Geekbench, repeating the rumor that it could be announced soon. The company is likely to launch its new product through a press release, as was the case with two new MacBook models recently.
