Samsung has launched a new entry-level smartphone in India. The Galaxy M01 Core is based on Google's Android Go and comes with a single rear view camera. It has a 5.3-inch HD + TFT display and is powered by a Quad-Core SoC MediaTek 6739 with up to 2 GB RAM.
For the optics, the Galaxy M01 Core has a single 8-megapixel camera sensor on the back together with an LED flash. There is also a 5MP selfie shooter. It comes with up to 32 GB of onboard memory. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, micro USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It contains a 3,000 mAh battery.
The price for the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core in India is Rs 5,499 (~ $ 73.50) for the basic option 1 GB RAM + 16 GB storage. In contrast, the memory model 2 GB RAM + 32 GB has a price of Rs 6,499. It is available in the colors black, blue and red. The handset will be available in Samsung retail stores, Samsung India e-store, and leading online stores in the country starting July 29.
