Vivo wants to fill the market with 5G smartphones and we can say that they are on the right track. The company is now gearing up with the Vivo S7 for a new 5G mid-range phone. As expected, the successful Vivo S6 5G will be successful, dropping the Exynos 980 SoC in favor of a Snapdragon 765G. So far we've seen some renderings and some details about the phone's specifications. Now there is a new leak with which we can optimally view the technical data of the phone.
According to a leaked image that shows several Vivo smartphones, the Vivo S7 contains a primary 44 megapixel selfie camera. That's true! The Vivo S7 will include a powerful selfie camera because it is said to be a selfie-centered smartphone. However, this does not mean that the rear view camera is defective. On the back is a 64 megapixel main camera, which is located inside the rectangular island. The design is very similar to that of the recently released Vivo X50 Pro. There are two auxiliary shooters below. According to a leaked render, the phone offers a hybrid zoom. Therefore, it is likely to be an ultra wide angle camera and a telephoto lens. Another interesting detail is that the Vivo S7 is the thinnest 5G smartphone with only 7.39 mm thickness. Hopefully this will not affect the battery size.
It is noteworthy that the Vivo S7 is probably equipped with an AMOLED display. The Vivo S6 5G had an AMOLED display and even the S5 had one. It goes without saying that you expect this panel on the S7. In addition, the company will neither pierce the display for the massive 44MP shooter nor its secondary sensor. The company will stick to the 2017 wide notch solution. Of course, it is not the customer's preferred way of assembling a selfie shooter. It's worth noting that because of the leaked renderings, the phone doesn't have a fingerprint scanner attached to the side or back. Due to the likely AMOLED nature, we can easily assume that the sensor will be placed under the display.
Other specifications include support for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB-C port. Unfortunately, we still don't know anything about the battery capacity or the fast charge technology of this model. Fortunately, we don't have to wait much longer.
