After rumors of an upgrade to the K30 Pro, a new Redmi device similar to the previous one has landed on the certification website in China. The model number corresponds to the K30 series and this could be the Redmi K30 Ultra 5G with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a SoC of Dimensional 1000+.
The relevant TENAA listing contains a device listed under the model number M2006J10C. There is a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with no notches in the pictures listed. This shows that Xiaomi could keep the pop-up mechanism for the selfie shooter on the front to allow a full screen experience.
Dimensions as a replacement for snapdragon?
With a size of 163.3 × 75.4 × 9.1 mm, the device could be a bit thicker, which is due to a larger battery and a glass sandwich. The list also includes colors such as black, blue, green, pink, white and red, which indicate a variety of options.
The specified resolution is 2400 × 1080 pixels, but higher frame rates are not mentioned. However, previous reports claim that the device will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz compared to 60 Hz on the K30 Pro.
The Redmi K30 Ultra is powered according to the listing via a 2.6 GHz octa-core CPU. The clock rate corresponds to the Dimensity 1000+ SoC from Mediatek. Although the device was released some time ago, it was not used by OEMs except for a few like iQOO Z1 5G.

While the selfie shooter is not explicitly mentioned, the number of cameras on the device is given as five, which indicates the quad camera on the back and a selfies shooter in advance.
The listing shows that the device has a typical value of 4,500mAh battery, while the actual nominal capacity is 4,400mAh in the listing. Earlier certifications of the device suggest that it could be equipped with a 33W fast charge.
There are 6/8/12 GB RAM and 128/256/512 GB storage options, and the device runs on Android 10 and is a Redmi device. I can assume that MIUI 12 is ready to use.
The rumored launch date is somewhere in August, and as expected, Xiaomi could market this device as an affordable 5G device with flagship specifications. We are waiting for an official word from the company soon.
