Redmi 9i is the latest addition to the Redmi 9 series of budget phones

Following the introduction of the Redmi 9A, the company recently launched another 9 series smartphone in India. The Redmi 9i is a budget device with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel and a waterdrop notch. It comes with an HD + resolution of 720 x 1600 and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. The device is operated with the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC. It is equipped with 4 GB LPDDR4xRAM and up to 128 GB internal memory. In contrast, the Redmi 9A was offered in the variants 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage. MIUI 12 runs on the new budget phone based on Android 10.

The Redmi 9i has a single 13-megapixel rear-view camera on the optical front, while a 5-megapixel selfie shooter is on the front. It contains a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging. Connectivity options include a dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro-USB and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The 64 GB storage option costs Rs 8,299 (~ USD 113). . On the other hand, the 128GB model of the Redmi 9i in India costs Rs 9,299 (~ $ 126 USD). It is available in the colors Nature Green, Sea Blue and Midnight Black. It will go on sale at 12pm IST on September 18 through Flipkart, and Mi Store.
