HONOR has been rumored to be working on its gaming-focused laptops. It teased the start of the Hunter series. Now the laptops are official. With the introduction of HONOR Hunter gaming laptops, the company enters the gaming laptop segment. The first device from the news series is a high-end Hunter V700. It is aimed at gamers who want the best performance in a portable form factor.
The design of the HONOR Hunter V700 has focused on both game aesthetics and thermal management. Its body consists of a body made of anodized aluminum alloy. Additionally, the Hunter logo lights up on the back, as does the keyboard and ventilation slots with LEDs that illuminate the base. All of this can be controlled and adjusted. The laptop is only 19.9 mm thick and still has thermal management functions.
The HONOR Hunter Gaming V700 laptop series is powered by Intel's 10th generation processors – the i5-10300H or the i7-10750H. There are three variants that come with 16 GB dual-channel RAM with NVMe SSD storage worth 512 GB or 1 TB. You can choose between NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and the RTX 2060 for graphics.
The Hunter laptop has a 16.1-inch display that is surrounded by narrow 4.7-mm bezels. It comes with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and supports a 100 percent sRBG color gamut. Also, it supports WiFi 6 for better connectivity when playing online. When it comes to audio, the new gaming laptop offers close-up 3D surround sound audio that is designed to make the gaming experience even more intense. It contains a 56 Wh battery.
